HiveMQ’s Vision for this role

HiveMQ is growing, and we are looking for a high-energy, creative, and inspiring Sales Development Manager to motivate, coach, and manage a global (EMEA and US) distributed team of Sales Development/Business Development Representatives. They must be passionate about setting up repeatable processes with the focus of growing our pipeline by executing successful outbound lead acquisition strategies and techniques. 

Candidates must have demonstrated strong leadership skills in similar high-growth B2B infrastructure software companies with a blend of inbound and outbound leads. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will work closely with global sales leadership, sales teams, and marketing to ensure  we hit our aggressive sales and marketing goals.

You will...

  • Be responsible for global pipeline growth.
  • Expand our outbound lead generation efforts with highly effective, results-oriented programs and processes.
  • Continue to elevate our inbound lead development to be first in class.
  • Maintain a high-performance and motivated team that are driven to over-achieve their goals.
  • Manage a team of 7+ SDRs across the US and EMEA.

You have…

  • Proven prior SDR leadership experience in a high-growth B2B software infrastructure company or a B2B software company focused at one of our key verticals – Manufacturing, Energy, Transportation and Logistics.
  • Proven experience managing global teams that span from the US to EMEA.
  • Strong experience in outbound techniques and processes that are effective in today's market.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Outside Sales for a software business.
  • 2 to 3 years experience in SDR management, leading a successful team.
  • Metrics-driven approach with deep experience with SFDC, ZoomInfo, Gong, and SalesLoft (or equivalent).
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and leading successful sales individuals.
  • Experience creating/enabling growth paths for SDRs.
  • Excellent prospecting, presentation and networking skills.
  • Proven ability to build healthy relationships across all departments.
