(Junior) Accountant

The Position

If you’re excited to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and passionate about Finance, this opportunity is for you!

• You take ownership of key accounting processes including Accounts Payable (in DATEV), monthly accruals, and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at scale.
• Handle intercompany transactions and billing across our European entities (DE, FR, IT, ES, UK, NL)
• You support and coordinate month - and year - end closings, ensuring HGB-compliant reporting and liaising with international tax advisors to prepare data, reconcile figures, and resolve open items.
• You contribute to annual financial statement preparation and act as a key contact during internal and external audits.
• Work in LucaNet: data entry, intercompany reconciliation and quality checks to support the group consolidation process.
• Assist with VAT reconciliations and compliance processes, including support for MOSS reporting across multiple EU entities.
• You critically assess existing workflows and proactively drive process improvements and automation initiatives. 

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree or vocational training in economics/accounting/finance or comparable degree.
• 1–3 years of practical accounting experience, either in industry or within audit/tax.
• Solid understanding of HGB fundamentals and their practical application.
• Experience with DATEV is a strong plus; exposure to LucaNet or other consolidation tools is beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of intercompany or multi-entity structures is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable handling high-volume transactions.
• Confident communicator in English; German is helpful for local accounting matters.
• Interested in process improvements and automation within finance.
