Global Sales Development Lead / Head of Sales Development (f/m/d)
The position
Build the global blueprint of Hive’s top-of-funnel engine
Take on a once-in-a-career opportunity and shape the future of Hive’s Growth by leading our Global Sales Development Team. Lead our international SDR team with 30+ FTE to generate high-quality demos and fuel our next growth phase.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role with budget ownership, team-building opportunities, direct access to C-level leaders, and close collaboration with the VP Outbound Marketing & SDR.
You’ll be responsible for defining how SDR at Hive looks, feels, and performs—shaping the way we scale our revenue across 6 markets.
What to expect from the role
- Generate true impact: Generate new qualified opportunities (demos held) for Hive to grow the customer base and transform how they operate. You’ll be steering the heartbeat of our Growth engine.
- Lead leaders: Manage and develop six SDR Country Leads directly, each owning a national SDR team. Be a multiplier for performance, clarity, and cohesion across all SDR units.
- Drive global performance: Own the top-of-funnel output across Hive: from team structures and playbooks to KPIs, pacing, and impact. Create the foundation for Hive’s next 10,000 qualified demos.
- Shape strategy & org design: Work hand-in-hand with the VP Outbound Marketing & SDR and collaborate with the CGO, Revenue Ops, and Head of Growth to build the SDR org of tomorrow—scalable, efficient, and deeply aligned with growth targets.
- Be data-obsessed: Leverage KPIs, pacing frameworks, and pipeline analysis to make sharp, impact-based decisions on prioritization, team setup, and strategy rollouts.
- Inspire & grow: Be the cultural heartbeat of the SDR org. Lead with inspiration, clarity, and ambition to drive motivation and retention at scale.
- Be hands-on and actually build something: This is an active role. You lead by being close to the department. The job isn’t done when the concept is beautiful—only when demos are booked and impact is felt.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, people leadership, and operational excellence. Specifically, you should bring:
- Ultra driven: You’re on top of your team, targets, and initiatives—owning them fully. You don't accept underperformance without action.
- A strong outbound sales foundation: You understand high-performing SDR playbooks and what drives performance in cold calling, prospecting, and qualification. You live and breathe outbound, and know how to lead by example.
- (Preferably) experience leading leaders: You’ve managed multiple team leads or captains. At a minimum, you’ve led a team directionally, not just functionally.
- Sharp prioritization & analytical decision-making: You evaluate problems through an impact lens, using data to make trade-offs and build roadmaps.
- Curiosity & drive: You challenge the status quo and build next-level strategies alongside Hive’s VP Outbound Marketing & SDR and Growth Leadership. You inspire alignment and trust across teams.
- Proactivity & ownership: You act as a true owner—continuously identifying improvement areas and driving the team forward without waiting for instructions.
- Conceptual clarity: You distill complex growth challenges into actionable strategies and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
