Your role as Portfolio Monitoring Analyst

We are looking for a Portfolio Monitoring Analyst to join our strategic Central Reporting Team, a recent established team that is scaling rapidly alongside Heritage's strong growth.
The Portfolio Monitoring team is core to our business and sits at the intersection of investment, technology and data. Acting as a central function across our European offices, it supports our Wealth Management business by ensuring that Relationship Managers have access to accurate, timely and consolidated portfolio information to deliver outstanding advisory and discretionary services to our UHNWI clients.

You will work directly with front-office professionals, gaining exposure to portfolio construction, asset allocation and client investment strategies while becoming a key contributor to the quality of the information used in client decision-making on investments and wealth management.

One of the team's most exciting missions is to rethink how portfolio monitoring is performed. Together with our Product and Technology teams, you will contribute to the designing, improving and scaling the Wealth Monitoring & Reporting Framework and the continuous enhancement of our proprietary new wealth management platform, a real tool for clarity and decision-making support, rather than simply a collection of numbers.

 

Core Responsibilities Include

  • Accurate loading and validation of transactions and valuations into our data aggregation system ensuring consistency with financial documentation
  • Reconcile data into accurate consolidated Wealth Reports, delivered to UHNWI Clients, cooperating with all local Heritage Relationship Managers and Teams across Europe
  • Enhance Portfolio analytics by integrating it with our market data source
  • Support the Tech team in the integration process between banks and our data aggregation sistem, strategic portfolio management controls and data quality check as well as in contribute to the design and rollout of new templates, dashboards and views within our in-house platform
  • Contribute to establishing a Center of Excellence, serving as a go-to reference for the Heritage teams on portfolio monitoring standards and processes

 

Key Requirements

  • Outstanding academic background with a master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related disciplines
  • 1-3 years’ experience in similar roles
  • Experience reading and interpreting account statements, bank reports, wealth reports, and financial documents related to Alternative Investments
  • Experience with cash and debt position reconciliation
  • Preferably, experience in Asset Management, wealth management, family office, fund audits or consulting firms (KPMG, PwC, etc.) in a complementary role
  • Tech-savvy with a strong interest in exploring new technologies
  • Tools specific to wealth management reporting are considered a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into clear and impactful presentations
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communicator with a collaborative and multicultural mindset
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a hands-on attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic and fast-growing environment
  • Fluent in English
