What We Do
At Heat Geek, we are tackling one of the UK’s biggest carbon contributors: home heating. 20% of all UK carbon emissions stems from home heating – and that contribution is even bigger on a global scale. At Heat Geek, we are changing that. By simplifying a traditionally complex industry and revolutionising the technology used by installers, we’re making low-carbon heating mainstream. We are on track to prevent 1,000,000 kg of carbon from entering our atmosphere in Q1 of 2026, and we won’t stop there!
Join Us!
People are at the core of who we are and what we do. From decreasing homeowners’ energy bills to help with the cost of living, to empowering talented heating engineers to perform outstanding installations, to ensuring a greener world for all of us, we believe in the power of what we can all do together. – And we need passionate, talented, hard working people to be a part of this journey.
Your Mission
Our Heat Geek team is excited to bring a Sales Enablement Associate into our team.
This is your opportunity to own the most critical stage of our homeowner journey during a period of rapid expansion. Joining a newly formed team in a fast-scaling company, you will be part of the core engine shaping our growth and sales processes as we scale up. This role requires you to be deep in the operational detail of our pipeline while actively participating in the strategic discussions that will define how we market ourselves and grow in the future. We’ve identified that improving conversion is critical to our future success and this role will be integral in developing our approach to that. Your mission is to work directly with our homeowner sales pipeline to increase conversion and ensure more people successfully decarbonise their homes.
If you’re reading this and it resonates with you, we know that you are talented and could do this work anywhere. But we want you to do it HERE, with us, because we need persevering teammates who care about making a real difference in the world.
Role Outputs
Pipeline Optimisation & Outreach
- Dynamic Lead Management: You will own the homeowner sales pipeline. This involves identifying high-potential leads from our database, building targeted outreach lists, and proactively contacting homeowners who have received a proposal to move them toward the installation phase.
- Conversion Advocacy: You will speak directly with homeowners to provide clarity, answer technical or financial questions, and remove the friction that prevents them from taking the final step toward a low-carbon home.
The 360 Growth Loop
- Systemic Problem Solving: You will not just follow a script; you will help build it. You will be responsible for identifying recurring blockers in our conversion process, proposing creative solutions, implementing them, and reviewing the data to see what works.
- The Experimental Engine: This is not a static role and everything is on the table. You will be expected to trial new sales methods and technologies to improve our results. This could include running homeowner webinars, organising customer events, or trialling new software to pre-qualify customers more effectively.
Voice of the Customer
- Strategic Feedback: As the person speaking to more homeowners than anyone else, you will act as a vital feedback loop. You will gather detailed insights on why customers proceed or stall and feed this back to the product and marketing teams.
- Insight Integration: By speaking to more homeowners than anyone else, you will be the "Voice of the Customer" within Heat Geek. You will gather detailed feedback on why customers proceed or why they stall.
North Star Focus
- Outcome Driven: Your success is measured against one key metric: increasing the total number of successful heat pump installations. Every experiment and call is aimed at this singular goal.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 3 years' experience in a sales development (SDR), sales enablement, or customer success.
- Strong communication skills: you are comfortable talking to customers about significant home investments and can handle objections with empathy and logic.
- Technical curiosity: you are willing to learn the "how and why" of heat pump technology so you can answer homeowner questions with confidence.
- Data-literate: you are comfortable working with CRMs to build call lists, track your progress, and report on conversion trends.
- A "Growth" mindset: you are excited by the "360 cycle" of testing new ways to improve the sales process and seeing the results in the data.
It’s a bonus if you have…
- Experience in a fast-paced startup or a "scale-up" environment.
- Experience in the renewables, property, or home improvement sectors.
- A passion for sustainability and climate tech.
We believe great teams are built from different ways of thinking, learning, and living, and as such, we strive to build an organisation where people can show up as themselves. – Even if you don’t tick every box listed above, but are passionate about the work that we are doing and believe that you can make a positive impact here, we’d love to hear from you. So please drop us a message or share more detail in your application!
