What We Do
At Heat Geek, we are tackling one of the UK's biggest carbon contributors: home heating. Nearly 20% of all UK carbon emissions stems from home heating, and that contribution is even bigger on a global scale. At Heat Geek, we are changing that. By simplifying a traditionally complex industry and revolutionising the technology used by installers, we're making low carbon heating mainstream. We have already prevented over 1,000,000 kg of carbon from entering our atmosphere as of January 2026, and we aren't stopping there!
Join Us!
People are at the core of who we are and what we do. From decreasing homeowners' energy bills to help with the cost of living, to empowering talented heating engineers to perform outstanding installations, to ensuring a greener world for all of us, we believe in what we can all do together. And we need passionate, talented, hardworking people to be a part of this journey.
Your Mission
As a Product Manager at Heat Geek, you'll be the connective tissue between customers, engineers, and the business. You'll take real problems, shape them into clear requirements and prioritised work, and see things through to shipping. You'll help define what we build, why we build it, and how we know it's working.
If you enjoy working closely with engineers, care about getting things out the door, and want to build products that genuinely help people, you'll fit in well here. We're a small team doing work that actually matters. If that's where you want to spend your time, we'd love to talk.
Role Outputs
- Translate customer, installer, and business insights into clear product requirements and outcomes
- Own and evolve the product backlog, ensuring work is prioritised around real impact
- Speak directly with customers and users to get honest insight and feedback
- Balance speed, quality, and learning, shipping iteratively rather than waiting for perfection
- Use data, telemetry, and qualitative insight to evaluate product performance and guide decisions
- Keep prioritisation honest and help the team focus on shipping work that actually matters
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working in a hands-on product role (e.g. Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Lead)
- Clear communicator who can align stakeholders and move conversations toward decisions
- Strong bias toward action, learning, and outcomes over theory or process for its own sake
- Comfortable talking to customers and turning insight into practical product decisions
- Passion for building great product experiences and improving them continuously
- Ability to give and receive critique constructively
- Genuinely curious and always looking to get better
It's a bonus if you have...
- Hands-on experience with product delivery (backlogs, sprints, refinement)
- Experience using data or product telemetry to inform decisions
- Worked in marketplace or workflow-driven products
- Exposure to climate, energy, installer-led, or operationally complex markets
- Experience working in agile environments focused on shipping, not ceremony
- Shipped real products and learned from what worked (and what didn't)
- Familiarity with lightweight experimentation, discovery, and validation approaches
- Interest in or curiosity about AI and how it can support better product outcomes
- A genuine desire to make things enjoyable to use, because users are human
- Experience with heat pumps, renewable energy, construction, or utilities
We believe great teams are built from different ways of thinking, learning, and living, and as such, we strive to build an organisation where people can show up as themselves. Even if you don’t tick every box listed above, but are passionate about the work that we are doing and believe that you can make a positive impact here, we’d love to hear from you. So please drop us a message or share more detail in your application!
