In this role, you will play a key part in building and maintaining a scalable data infrastructure that powers data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop robust data models, optimize data pipelines, and ensure high-quality data accessibility.   As an Analytics Engineer at Health Innovation Labs, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, dbt, Looker, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to transform raw data into meaningful insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment, helping to drive innovation in healthcare technology. Optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis to ensure efficiency and performance. Build and manage semantic models in Looker, enabling intuitive and insightful reporting for stakeholders. Develop, maintain, and enhance data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring reliable and efficient data processing. Collaborate with Lead and Senior Analytics Engineers to define and implement best practices for data modeling and analytics. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through proactive monitoring, testing, and validation processes. Document data models, workflows, and processes to improve transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot and resolve data issues to ensure seamless data accessibility and usability. Communicate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and data-driven decision-making.   About You: Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries. Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling. Proven ability to design and implement semantic models in Looker to support business intelligence. Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services, such as BigQuery and Cloud Storage. Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. HIL is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Cybersecurity and Technical Infrastructure team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations scale with the business while remaining secure. Within the Cybersecurity and Technical Infrastructure team your mission will be to design and implement secure infrastructure and operations solutions across our cloud environments with a focus on creating a safe space in which stream-aligned teams can be empowered to own the end-to-end responsibilities of building, maintaining and operating their technical systems.
