🚀 We’re Hiring: Accounting Manager (Spain, Mexico, Canada & Brazil Integration) 🌍

HBS is looking for a Finance professional to play a key role in supporting the integration of newly incorporated entities in Spain, Mexico, Canada & Brazil into our financial and reporting structure. You’ll act as the vital link between our external payroll, accounting & tax providers, our Controlling team, and our in-house Accounting team — ensuring accurate and complete accounting records for both IFRS and local GAAP purposes.

 

📌 About the Role

  • Lead integration of newly incorporated entities in Spain, Mexico, Canada & Brazil into HBS financial and reporting structure,
  • Manage relationships with external payroll, accounting & tax providers and act as a link to Controlling
  • Oversee and support A/P, A/R, Fixed Asset and GL accounting for four legal entities incl. the closing process
  • Manage IFRS 16 database and related postings
  • Calculating and posting bad debt provisions (including IFRS 9)
  • Support intercompany reconciliation process monthly
  • Prepare monthly direct cash flow
  • Collaborate with the AP team lead on cash flow forecasting
  • Prepare IFRS reporting package in HFM for four legal entities monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly
  • Provide support in ERP roll out
  • Oversee the approval of the employee expense reports (Mobile Expense)
  • Maintain documentation of accounting processes and ensuring internal controls are in place and followed by the stakeholders

 

🛫 What makes a successful candidate?

  • Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in accounting (or equivalent certification)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and any local GAAP for Canada, Mexico or Spain is a plus
  • English speaker, fluency in Spanish is a big plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus
  • ERP implementation support experience desirable
  • Experience in international or multicultural environments is an advantage
  • Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture and stay calm under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Independent, proactive, and committed to high-quality work, professional integrity, and client-first thinking.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
