Purpose of Role

Working in the FIFA Projects Unit at HBS, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects across preparation and operational phases. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role is responsible for planning, coordination, and execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Manager plays a key role in driving operational consistency and efficiency across HBS projects, directly supporting the company’s strategic and financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle, from planning through delivery and post-event reporting
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and manage supplier relationships
  • Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure operational readiness
  • Oversee staffing, procurement, documentation, and risk management in line with HBS standards
  • Support on-site and off-site operations during live events, ensuring seamless execution

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in project or event operations, ideally within live events and/or broadcast
  • Strong understanding of production workflows and broadcast infrastructure
  • Confident managing budgets, schedules, and documentation in complex environments
  • Calm, organised, and effective under pressure, with strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
