The Insurance Team is a vital function within Ocado's LBI that secures and manages the company's full insurance liability.
As our Motor Claims Handler, you won't just process claims; you'll own them. You will independently manage a varied caseload, taking point on everything from road traffic incidents to major property and vehicle damage. - Serve as the primary contact, skilfully handling all email and telephone enquiries while professionally navigating and resolving customer queries and complaints.
- Conduct thorough, proactive initial inquiries, meticulously gathering essential information from all sources (customers, witnesses, third parties) to support rapid, accurate claim assessment, and liability determination.
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to efficient, professional claims handling, ensuring all stakeholders are consistently informed and expectations are managed throughout the process.
About you
- Proven experience in claims, with demonstrable experience managing a high-volume caseload is preferred but not required.
- Experience with both litigated and non-litigated work is preferred but not required.
- Strong ability to investigate, interpret evidence, and support liability assessments.
- Knowledge of case management systems.
