About the role
As an Operations Systems Support Specialist, you will have a unique perspective, more than anyone else working within a CFCat Erith as you will be working across three different disciplines; Engineering Operations, Technical Support Services and Business Operations. What you'll be doing:
- Ensure relevant business systems are operational and provide an efficient service to Ocado’s customers / clients and to avoid or minimise any impact to customers following system outages or incidents.
- Managing incidents and tasks across multiple disciplines through to either resolution or escalation.
- Identify and raise faults in appropriate systems, be the technical point of contact for onsite and offsite teams
- Manage the ticketing progress for Technical support services
- Investigate failed tasks and analyse the performance of key onsite assets.
This is an onsite-based role and will take part in a team shift pattern to cover operations.
About you
- You will have a background in a technical support capacity with focus on hardware support / incident management and a good understanding of computing configurations, ITIL, infrastructure
- Experience in managing and resolving technical incidents in hardware, software and networking
- Able to ensue with stakeholders at all levels to provide technical updates and engage with technical requests, following and creating documentation, processes and procedures throughout.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills will also be key.
