Floor Lead - Amsterdam, Kalverstraat

OVERVIEW:

We're looking for a Floor Lead to help bring the Gymshark experience to life in our Amsterdam store. As a Floor Lead, you'll lead from the front, creating an energetic, welcoming environment for both customers and teammates. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, driving service standards, supporting store operations, and helping your team perform at their best.

From leading morning huddles and coaching on the shop floor to supporting stock flow, maintaining standards, and stepping up as the manager on duty when needed, you'll be a trusted leader who leads with confidence, accountability, and authenticity. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Leading from the shop floor and creating exceptional experiences for every customer.
• Inspiring and motivating teammates through positive leadership, energy, and example.
• Running daily huddles, communicating priorities, and setting the team up for success.
• Providing real-time coaching and feedback to support individual and team development.
• Helping customers find the right products through genuine conversations and expert product knowledge.
• Supporting store performance through strong service standards, sales confidence, and commercial awareness.
• Championing Gymshark Membership and helping customers understand the benefits.
• Taking ownership of shop floor standards, ensuring the store is always clean, organised, and customer-ready.
• Supporting stock replenishment, delivery processing, and back-of-house operations when needed.
• Acting as a keyholder and supporting opening and closing procedures.
• Managing customer queries and escalations with confidence, empathy, and sound judgement.
• Stepping up as manager on duty when required, making decisions that support the team, customer, and business.
• Adapting to changing priorities and helping the store succeed during busy trading periods.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role with a proven ability to coach, support, and develop others.
• Experience working within a retail store environment.
• Previous keyholder experience.
• A track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence leading and influencing others.
• A positive, energetic, and people-first approach to leadership.
• The ability to multitask and maintain high standards across customer service, operations, and store presentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to make decisions when required.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively as part of One Team.
• A passion for continuous improvement, learning, and personal development.
• A genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and community.
• Valid Right to Work in the Netherlands.
