Regional QA Manager
Drive quality excellence across our APAC supplier network
At Gymshark, product quality is fundamental to delivering the experience our community expects. We're looking for an experienced Regional QA Manager to oversee and elevate supplier quality performance across our Asia sourcing region, ensuring products are manufactured to Gymshark's standards for quality, performance, safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
Based remotely in Vietnam, you'll act as the key quality representative within the region, partnering closely with suppliers, factories, Certified Factory Auditors (CFAs), and third-party inspection providers. You'll collaborate with teams across Sourcing, Product Development, Materials, Ethics, Supply Chain, and Quality to ensure risks are identified early and quality standards are consistently achieved throughout production.
As Regional QA Manager, you'll be responsible for driving supplier quality performance and ensuring robust quality controls are implemented throughout the production process.
Supplier Quality Management
- Partner with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure Gymshark quality, technical, inspection, and production standards are understood and consistently applied.
- Monitor supplier quality systems and support improvements across manufacturing and inspection processes.
- Follow up technical audit findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively and on time.
- Support the rollout and execution of Gymshark quality programmes.
- Provide input on supplier capability, technical competence, and factory suitability.
Product Risk Management
- Review product and production risk assessments during development and pre-production stages.
- Identify risks relating to construction, manufacturability, workmanship, materials, trims, colour, fit, durability, and production consistency.
- Escalate significant risks and collaborate with internal teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure lessons learned from previous quality issues are incorporated before bulk production begins.
Production Quality & Inspection Governance
- Monitor production activity across the region and ensure appropriate quality controls are in place.
- Support production follow-up activities for high-risk, new supplier, or first-production programmes.
- Provide guidance to suppliers and inspection partners regarding inspection standards and expectations.
- Ensure defects and non-conformities are identified, communicated, and resolved effectively.
Certified Factory Auditor (CFA) Programme
- Lead the regional CFA programme, supporting auditor selection, certification, training, and performance management.
- Ensure consistent application of Gymshark inspection standards, measurement requirements, reporting processes, and escalation protocols.
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate recurring defects, failed inspections, customer complaints, and significant quality concerns.
- Drive effective corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) and verify their effectiveness.
- Share key learnings and best practices across suppliers and internal teams.
Reporting & Performance Management
- Analyse quality, inspection, audit, and supplier performance data.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to the Head of Quality and wider Quality team.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, supplier performance, CAPAs, and quality activities.

- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including inline, end-line and final inspections, AQL standards, defect classification, and inspection reporting.
- Experience evaluating supplier quality systems and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to influence suppliers, factory management teams, auditors, and inspection partners without direct line management authority.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and drive informed decisions.
