Delivery Manager - FTC - 15months

OVERVIEW:

As Delivery Manager in this maternity leave cover for 15 months, you will create and implement a robust and efficient delivery strategy to guide the Delivery Leadership team so they can distribute and deliver key projects to enable the Gymshark legacy to continue. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Reporting to the Delivery Director as a member of the Delivery leadership team,  whilst leading the Project management function 
  • Lead a team of between 5-10 people with direct reports across Project management 
  • Create, lead and maintain the 1 year strategy for Project Management within the delivery function. Ensuring it lines up with the overarching objectives for Delivery and Tech  
  • Oversee all projects within Tech, helping to identify risks and mitigate 
  • Create, lead and maintain the Project Management processes, documentation and ways of working  
  • Plan and manage a resourcing strategy for all Tech projects  
  • Supported by the Delivery Director, leads the way with people management, team and individual performance, development of team members and employment decisions within the project management team. 
  • Leading on implementing project KPI reports – creating visibility across Tech and the wider business 
  • Plays a role in the Delivery leadership group in imparting business values and delivering requirements of stakeholders as well as innovation and ideation alongside BAU. 
  • Actively participate in project teams while simultaneously ensuring proper communication and collaboration within business departments and with business partners. 
  • Coherently communicates the challenges of the team and observe the team’s daily activities to gain a clear view of members’ roles and contributions in project meetings and project planning 

Accountable for:  

  • Plays a key role in shaping and influencing the delivery Team 
  • Ensures that there is alignment between all the Projects within Tech   
  • Understands and anticipates the need for change, diagnose the underlying issues and build the case for change Tech leaders
  • Contributes to and, where accountable, defines processes that support the Tech team  
  • Provides consultation and coaching to the Project managers in order to support the business’ vision, mission, and overall objectives
  • Accountable for facilitating the movement of the performance needle in all manager-based metrics  

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong experience managing large programmes of work spanning the business 
  • Strong experience managing and working with senior stakeholders, including C-suite
  • A background in technology and retail industry 
  • Ability to make viable commercial decisions  
  • People first mindset  
  • Experience in people management  
  • Experienced in effectively managing resource  
  • Maintains a clear and detailed knowledge of the industry trends, best practices, and innovation

Please note this is a hybrid role and requires the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
