Social Channels Manager - 12m FTC

OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a Social Channels Manager for a12m FTC, who’s confident leading a team, making clear decisions, and keeping work moving at pace. You’ll play a key role in shaping and delivering global social campaigns across all platforms, working closely with brand, creative, and channel partners to make sure everything lands with the energy and consistency Gymshark is known for.
 
We're looking for someone who can blend creativity, strategic thinking, and commercial awareness. You'll have a genuine passion and understanding of social platforms, culture, and how audiences behave.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead global social campaigns across major moments (product drops, store openings, events, and anything else that needs social buzz)
  • Work closely with Creative, Brand, Media, and CRM teams to ensure our social presence is consistent, high-quality, and always on-brand.
  • Shape and execute social strategy to drive engagement, awareness, and performance against KPIs.
  • Manage, develop, and support the Social Channels team, offering guidance, feedback, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee campaign planning, timelines, approvals, and budgets.
  • Stay on top of platform trends, audience behaviour, and competitor activity, and use those insights to inform our approach.
  • Maintain quality control and ensure brand safety and risk processes are followed.
  • Keep communication clear across teams so everyone is aligned and understands priorities.
  • Help educate the wider business on best practice and how to use social effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

  • 3+ years managing social channels at a senior level 
  • Direct line management experience
  • Experience delivering KPI‑driven campaigns across multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat) and managing multiple workstreams in fast‑paced environments.
  • Skilled in campaign planning, execution, optimisation, reporting, and brand storytelling, including coordinating regional priorities.
  • Commercially aware, confident communicator, and effective stakeholder manager across teams and senior leaders.
  • Creative, solutions‑focused, agile, collaborative, and commercially pragmatic.
This position can be offered on a 4‑day or 5‑day per week contract. The successful candidate will be required to attend our GSIQ offices in Solihull two days each week.
