Commercial Analyst

OVERVIEW:

At Gymshark, we’re on the lookout for a Commercial Analyst to join our growing Insights Team, a central force driving smarter, faster, and customer-led decisions across the business.

Working as part of the Commercial Spoke, you’ll collaborate with teams across Planning, Merchandising, Customer Experience, and Operations to unlock growth, improve performance, and shape the future of our brand.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Gather, analyse, and deliver actionable insights to optimise business performance across multiple commercial functions.
  • Track key business metrics across our global markets, identifying growth drivers and areas for improvement.
  • Deliver insights to support go-to-market strategies, brand and product campaigns, and cross-functional commercial activity.
  • Integrate diverse data sources to solve strategic challenges and uncover opportunities.
  • Enhance forecasting models and provide ongoing KPI tracking support.
  • Build intuitive dashboards and BI visualisations that democratise data access.
  • Partner closely with analytics, data engineering, and business teams to embed insights into everyday decision-making. 
  • Manage ad hoc analysis requests and prioritise projects with the greatest impact.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong analytical skills and a natural curiosity for turning complex data into actionable insight.
  • Proven expertise in statistical modelling, regression analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience in the apparel, eCommerce, or retail space.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, plus experience with tools such as Looker and GA4.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate numbers into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Solid project management and prioritisation skills.

 

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
