WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As our Sourcing Coordinator, you'll work hand in hand with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Product Development, Product Buying and Suppliers. Your attention to detail and efficient admin support will help ensure that order placements run smoothly in line with our launch schedules. You can make a genuine difference to ensuring expectations are met on capability, capacity, quality, and performance. Key tasks include:

  • Executing order placements.
  • Updating critical paths, ensuring hitting deadlines across multiple departments.
  • Collaborating with Sourcing leads to negotiate costings.
  • Proactively updating capacity, optimising utilisation with merchandising.
  • Reviewing forecasts, updating commitments with vendors.
  • Managing SKU attribution accurately before PO raising.
  • Benchmarking core lines, reviewing product re-engineering insights.
  • Participating in supplier meetings, problem-solving, and discussing key dates.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

It is important that you have clothing/garment experience – an apparel or accessories background is particularly useful. We are also looking for:

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Good negotiation skills and a desire to continue improving your abilities in this area
  • A comprehensive understanding of costing principles
  • An understanding of garment product creation and manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on finding solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a highly organised approach
  • Proficiency in conveying insights through data-driven storytelling.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSIQ, Solihull, UK.
