What will you do?

• Lead and grow the Platform team - Manage, mentor, and set standards for a cross-functional team spanning platform, automation, backend, and architecture
• Own the platform roadmap - Treat the platform as a product by defining and executing a roadmap for cloud infrastructure, observability, and service templates
• Increase engineering velocity - Identify bottlenecks across the R&D lifecycle and implement solutions that help teams ship faster and safer
• Architect for scale and reliability - Design infrastructure that supports high-scale video rendering and AI workloads in collaboration with product R&D teams
• Enable self-service - Drive the shift from ticket-based operations to developer self-service for environments, services, and deployments
• Partner across R&D - Work closely with product groups to reduce cognitive load and improve the developer experience

What will you need to have?

• Platform or DevOps leadership experience - 2+ years leading DevOps, SRE, or Platform teams while balancing stability and long-term strategy
• Strong cloud-native background - 5+ years working with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code
• Hands-on technical authority - Ability to dive into code or infrastructure (Terraform, Python, Go) when needed to unblock teams
• Product mindset - Experience building internal platforms based on developer feedback and measuring success through adoption
• Broad technical understanding - Comfortable across the stack, from frontend build systems to backend services and databases
• Clear communicator - Able to translate infrastructure work into business impact and align multiple R&D stakeholders

Bonus points if you have:

• Led a transition to self-service developer platforms
• Experience supporting AI-heavy or compute-intensive workloads
• Built “golden paths” that meaningfully improved developer productivity
