Role Overview
As an Account Manager at Guidde, you will own the commercial relationship with a portfolio of customers. Your primary focus will be identifying/completing expansion opportunities. You will work closely with Customer Success Managers, who lead adoption and product engagement, to ensure the commercial side of the relationship grows in alignment with the customer’s evolving needs.
This role sits within the sales organization and is measured on ARR expansion.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Commercial Relationship: Serve as the main point of contact for all commercial matters within your assigned accounts.
- Drive Renewals: Manage the contract renewal process end-to-end, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Identify Expansion Opportunities: Work closely with CSMs to uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities, presenting solutions that align with customer needs.
- Negotiate Contracts: Lead pricing discussions, proposal creation, and contract negotiations for both renewals and expansions.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with CSMs, product, and marketing teams to ensure customers receive value and remain in a strong position to expand.
- Maintain CRM Accuracy: Update and manage all account-related commercial activity in HubSpot to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Leverage AI in Sales: Use AI-powered tools to streamline renewal tracking, proposal generation, and expansion opportunity identification.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS account management or commercial sales experience, preferably in enterprise or strategic accounts.
- Proven success in renewal execution, expansion sales, and contract negotiations.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM for commercial pipeline tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Customer Success Managers and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with a results-driven approach.
- Experience using AI tools to increase sales efficiency is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
