IT & Security Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on IT & Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our organizational support, ensuring smooth daily operations while playing a key role in our security posture. You will manage everything from high-level Help Desk support to complex SSO integrations, working closely with our Security Engineer to implement and maintain IT Security products.
What You’ll Do
- End-to-End IT Support: Provide top-tier technical support for all employees, from onboarding new hires to troubleshooting complex hardware/software issues.
- Identity & Access Management: Take ownership of our SSO ecosystem, connecting new applications and managing user lifecycles.
- Security Operations: Partner with the Security Engineer to deploy, configure, and monitor IT Security tools (EDR, MDM, Email Security, etc.).
- Fleet Management: Manage a 100% macOS environment, ensuring all devices are compliant, updated, and secured via MDM.
- Project Leadership: Lead IT projects such as implementing new SaaS tools, office network improvements, and security hardening.
Requirements
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT/System administration, preferably in a high-tech or startup environment.
- SaaS Expertise: Deep understanding of Google Workspace (GWS) administration.
- Identity Management: Experience with JumpCloud (or similar DaaS/IdP solutions like Okta/Azure AD) – Major Advantage.
- Apple Aficionado: Proven experience managing and troubleshooting macOS devices in a corporate setting.
- Security Mindset: Practical experience with IT Security products (e.g., SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Jamf, Kandji, or Umbrella).
- Service Oriented: A "can-do" attitude with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users.
Advantages
- Experience with MDM platforms (Kandji, Jamf, or JumpCloud MDM).
- Knowledge of scripting (Bash/Python) for automation of manual tasks.
- Familiarity with compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001).
