About the Role

As Head of Treasury, you will own GSR’s global liquidity and capital across fiat and crypto. You’ll ensure capital is deployed efficiently, risks are well managed, and treasury scales with the firm’s growth.

Partnering closely with Trading, Finance, and Risk, you’ll combine hands-on execution with strategic leadership, advising on new products, entities, and market expansion.

Responsibilities

Liquidity & Capital Strategy

• Own group-wide liquidity and capital management across fiat and crypto
  
  
• Build cash flow forecasts, stress scenarios, and capital buffer frameworks
  
  
• Track and optimise capital usage by business line, desk, and legal entity
  
  
• Produce capital headroom and asset–liability reporting
  
  

Treasury Operations & Infrastructure

• Provide oversight and governance of treasury operations across fiat and crypto, ensuring accuracy, controls, and robustness
  
  
• Review and validate cash positioning, reconciliations, and internal funding flows produced by Operations
  
  
• Own the design and continuous improvement of treasury frameworks, controls, and reporting
  
  
• Manage global banking relationships and funding structures
  
  
• Design and support Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) across the business
  
  
• Optimise intercompany funding structures to minimise trapped liquidity and align with regulatory and tax considerations

Strategic Initiatives

• Advise on treasury implications of new products, entities, and market expansions
  
  
• Own corporate FX exposure management, including hedging strategy and execution
  
  

Your Profile

• 5+ years’ experience in treasury, finance, or capital markets, ideally within a trading, crypto, fintech, or investment environment
  
  
• Proven experience managing liquidity, capital efficiency, and funding across multi-entity, multi-currency structures
  
  
• Strong understanding of working capital, liquidity risk, and capital allocation in fast-moving markets
  
  
• Working knowledge of crypto market infrastructure, including exchanges, wallets, margining, and stablecoins
  
  
• Experience designing or operating intercompany funding structures and treasury operating models
  
  
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels in a high-growth, dynamic environment
