About the Role
We’re looking for a copy intern who’s curious about finance, words, people, and how simple language can make intimidating topics feel easy. This role is for someone who wants to learn by doing, writing copy that goes out to millions of users. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and product teams to bring ideas to life across campaigns, in-app experiences, and everyday user communication. If you enjoy playing with words, thinking from a user’s point of view, and believe that great copy is clear, warm, and intentional, you’ll feel right at home.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with designers and copywriters to craft clear, simple, and engaging copy across campaigns, in-app events, and brand communications.
- Write short-form copy like headlines, subheads, CTAs, captions, and microcopy that feels friendly and easy to understand
- Help simplify financial ideas using everyday language, without making them feel boring or overwhelming
- Explore different tones and formats while staying aligned with Groww’s brand voice
- Learn how copy works alongside visuals, layouts, and user journeys to create meaningful experiences
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated in English, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong interest in writing both long & short form formats and storytelling (college work, personal projects, blogs, or social content all count)
- Ability to write clearly and concisely, especially short, punchy copy
- Basic understanding of branding and tone of voice
- Comfortable collaborating with designers and other team members
- Interest in finance, fintech, or personal money concepts is a plus (but not mandatory)
What you’ll gain
Hands-on experience writing user-facing copy with guidance from experienced writers and designers. You’ll learn how ideas move from brief to final execution, understand how copy impacts user behaviour, and build a strong foundation in brand & product communication.
