Responsibilities:
 
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indian law qualified corporate lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will come with at least 1-3 PQE with a strong background in PE, M&A, Corporate Advisory.
  • Draft, review and negotiate term sheet and transaction documents in relation to private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions etc.
  • Assist in legal due diligence for investments, acquisitions, and other corporate actions.
  • Provide legal advisory on corporate governance and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, analyze complex legal issues, and provide strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, secretarial  and compliance, to address legal issues and mitigate risks.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. 5 year integrated degree in law from a recognized Indian university.
  2. Previous experience with a reputable law firm is mandatory.
  3. PQE of 1-3 years as a lawyer working in the required fields.
  4. Strong knowledge of Indian corporate laws and regulations, and guidelines.
  5. Excellent communication skills
