Key Responsibilities

Program and Project Governance:
  • Define and implement best practices for project management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish standardized processes, tools, and frameworks for IT and IS project execution.
Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and align IT/IS projects with business objectives.
  • Drive the delivery of key initiatives, such as software development, infrastructure upgrades, and cybersecurity enhancements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Coordinate between development, operations, compliance, and business teams to ensure seamless execution of fintech projects.
  • Act as a central point of communication for stakeholders, addressing dependencies and resolving conflicts.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Establish KPIs to measure project and program success, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Budget and Resource Management:
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively, balancing team capacities and project demands.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring optimal utilization and financial efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to enhance project delivery, team productivity, and organizational agility.
  • Implement lessons learned and feedback mechanisms to refine processes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in IT/IS project management. Prior experience in Fintech or financial services is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong understanding of fintech systems, regulatory landscapes, and emerging technologies.
  • Expertise in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance frameworks.
