NetSuite Team Lead (Functional ERP Support & Coordination)
Groupon is a marketplace where customers discover new experiences and services everyday and local businesses thrive. To date we have worked with over a million merchant partners worldwide, connecting over 16 million customers with deals across various categories. In a world often dominated by e-commerce giants, we stand out as one of the few platforms uniquely committed to helping local businesses succeed on a performance basis.
Groupon is on a radical journey to transform our business with relentless pursuit of results. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. The impact here can be immediate due to our scale and the speed of our transformation. We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have the resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact.
About the Role
We need a NetSuite Team Lead who can both solve problems and guide a small team (up to 5 people). This is a hands-on role: you’ll take on complex second-line issues while steering Jira intake, coaching juniors, and keeping support predictable. The goal is to stabilize day-to-day ERP support, close gaps, and free space for improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach a distributed team of up to 5 ERP analysts.
- Run Jira intake: triage tickets, set priorities, and assign clearly.
- Track workloads, share visibility with leadership, and flag risks early.
- Provide second-line NetSuite support (roles, workflows, reports, permissions).
- Act as escalation point during month-end and quarter-end close.
- Promote documentation: every fix should leave a knowledge trace.
- Partner with Finance and IT to spot root causes and process gaps.
- Coordinate with vendors on testing and small change requests.
- Drive small usability and support workflow improvements.
Key Requirements
- 4–5+ years working with NetSuite in a functional or systems support role.
- Solid knowledge of finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, reconciliations).
- Practical NetSuite skills: searches, reports, workflows, roles, permissions.
- Experience leading a small team or workstream.
- Jira/Confluence familiarity and structured way of working.
- Strong communication across time zones; fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Coupa, Alteryx, Anaplan, Salesforce familiarity.
- Functional knowledge of SnapLogic or integration monitoring.
- Audit/SOX/ITGC support experience.
What Success Looks Like
- Jira queue is clear, visible, and predictable.
- Team members are onboarded and productive within 60 days.
- Support speed and resolution quality improve measurably.
- Finance users trust the system; fewer escalations.
- Leadership has a clear picture of workloads and risks.
We Are Interested In
- Problem-solvers who structure work clearly.
- Leaders who coach juniors, not just fix issues.
- People who can stay steady under messy conditions.
- Candidates who use AI tools thoughtfully to speed up and simplify work.
