- Ownership From Start to Finish: You will lead the entire content process, from strategic planning to what users actually see on the Groupon website. You will define what a high-performing deal looks like. Your work directly influences whether they click, engage and purchase.

💻 What You’ll do
- Lead a squad of 1-3 direct reports (content manager and project manager) and approximately 100 indirect reports, including copywriters (India and Spain)
- Own and optimize the content lifecycle - write and ship deal pages & landing pages that beat today’s CVR
- Lead the content strategy for Groupon’s website across brands and markets from positioning and messaging to hands-on execution with a focus on performance and business impact.

- Build the content “factory” - prompts, scrapers (Apify/n8n) and templates that let the team ship in hours, not days.
- Define and evolve our editorial and SEO framework to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent, and discoverable.
- Embed AI and automation into content ops, helping the team work smarter and faster without sacrificing creativity or brand integrity.
Run A/B tests, analyze performance data, and double down on what works - killing or improving what doesn’t.
🔎About You
- You have at least 5 years of experience creating performance-driven content in e-commerce or marketplace environments.
- Strategic thinking comes naturally to you and you know how to shape high-performing deals from end to end.
- You are confident asking tough questions, challenging existing workflows, and applying smarter, more effective practices.
- You’ve delivered proven CRO wins (and you’re ready to share the uplift numbers).
- You know how to brief, review, and coach creatives to get the best from a multidisciplinary team.
- Rather than managing from a distance, you lead by doing - balancing vision with hands-on execution.
- AI tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney, DALL·E and Canva (with AI features) are already part of your daily workflow.
- You are a daily user of LLMs and at least one automation stack (Apify, n8n, Make, Zapier).
- Search optimization is more than a buzzword. You know how to use keywords, metadata and internal linking to drive real performance.
- Insights from GA4, Search Console, HubSpot, or SEMrush guide your decisions and help you focus on what actually works.
- Fluent in English, at business-deck level.
