Junior Java Developer

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to building microservices-based applications. This role is perfect for candidates with a solid foundation in Java and a strong willingness to learn. You’ll work in an Agile environment, leveraging AI tools daily to enhance productivity and innovation.

📝 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Java.

• Work with SQL databases for data storage and retrieval.

• Implement and integrate REST APIs.

• Use Git for version control and collaborate on code with the team.

• Manage project dependencies with Maven or Gradle.

• Participate in code reviews and write unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and other testing frameworks.

• Work on tasks assigned via Jira tickets and track progress efficiently.

• Leverage AI tools daily to enhance productivity and problem-solving.

 💪 Requirements

• Decent experience with Java development.

• Understanding of SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

• Familiarity with REST API development.

• Knowledge of Git for version control.

• Exposure to Maven or Gradle for dependency management.

• Willingness to learn and work in a microservices environment.

📝 Nice-to-Have Skills (or Willingness to Learn):

• Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Grafana.

• Experience with Messaging brokers (ActiveMq, Kafka …)

• Familiarity with Jira for task management and progress tracking.

• Exposure to testing frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.

• Optional familiarity with Dropwizard for microservices development.

• Understanding of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
