We’re looking for a Business Operations Associate to be the right hand of a Senior Director at Groupon in Prague. We're looking for someone who’s not afraid to dive into data, lead projects, escalate and help us grow faster and smarter. 📝 What You’ll Do

🧩 Project & Task Management

  • Take the lead on your own smaller projects – from kickoff to final delivery

  • Own parts of larger strategic initiatives (like international expansion or collaborating with tax advisors)

  • Join internal meetings, keep things on track with clear notes and action items

  • Coordinate across teams to make sure everything runs on time

📊 Business & Financial Analytics

  • Dig into cost, revenue, and performance data to find insights, gaps, and opportunities

  • Create clear overviews, dashboards, and reports to support smart decisions

  • Analyze invoices, contracts, and transactions to keep everything in check

  • Prepare data for management and internal reporting

⚙️ Process Optimization & Automation

  • Spot inefficient workflows and help us simplify or automate them

  • Assist in rolling out new tools and improving existing systems

  • Make sure internal processes (like cost forecasting or spreadsheet inputs) are followed and improved where needed

🔍 Product & Market Insight

  • Keep an eye on competitors and industry trends – bring in fresh ideas

  • Add the “customer view” to internal discussions

  • Suggest product or service improvements based on real-world benchmarking

💼 Sales Support & Commercial Insight

  • Be part of the sales journey – join calls with potential clients and contribute your perspective

  • Read through sales team reports and highlight what matters: what’s working, what’s not, what to fix, and what we can learn from

  • Strong organizational skills – you know how to keep projects moving, prioritize tasks, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks

  • Analytical thinking – you enjoy digging into data, spotting trends, and turning numbers into actionable insights

  • Proactive mindset – instead of waiting for instructions, you look for what needs to be done and take initiative

  • Basic financial literacy – you don’t have to be an accountant, but understanding costs, revenues, and budgets is part of your daily game

  • Process-oriented thinking – you naturally look for ways to simplify, streamline, or automate repetitive tasks

  • Great communication – you’re clear, concise, and comfortable working with different teams across the company

  • Tech-savvy – you know your way around spreadsheets, project management tools (like Asana), and maybe even know a thing or two about automation tools

  • Business curiosity – you enjoy learning how a company works, how decisions are made, and how to make things better

  • Fluent in English – written and spoken
