Lead Web App Monitoring and Reliability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Lead Web App Monitoring Specialist to join our team in Prague office (hybrid mode). You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the availability and performance of our website through the consumer purchase funnel and engagement with Website/apps.
Additionally, you will develop and implement automation tools for monitoring and alerting to ensure a seamless and efficient customer experience. You will also be expected to build and manage a small team.

 

Your responsibility will cover (but is not limited to):

  • Leading a to-be-built team of web monitoring specialists

  • Monitor Website/App Availability using various tools such as CWV, Pagespeed Insights, Pingdom, Postman, and internal custom tooling (Playwright)

  • Analyze the consumer journey through the website's purchase funnel using primarily Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, and Tableau

  • Develop and implement automation tools for continuous monitoring of website availability and performance

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive reports on website availability and purchase funnel performance

  • Collaborate with marketing, product & engineering, and customer service teams

  • Suggest optimizations to enhance website performance and the customer purchase experience

  • Conduct regular tests to validate the functionality and performance of the website across different devices and browsers
     

👀We're excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in website monitoring, automation, or a similar role

  • Experience in site reliability engineering with a primary focus on Front End

  • Experience with leading people or strong potential

  • Proficiency with website monitoring tools (e.g., Pingdom/UptimeRobot, Selenium/Playwright, Postman&Newman etc.)

  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., TypeScript/Javascript, Python, Shell scripting)

  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI)

  • General Understanding of web technologies and frameworks

  • Knowledge of software best practices, like Test-driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Delivery (CI-CD)
     

Nice to have skills:

  • Familiarity with industries such as Betting & Gaming, Trading brokers, Ecommerce & Marketplaces
