Your Role  

As Solution Consultant, you will establish yourself as expert in the district heating sector and own the technical track in the process of new client acquisition. Both the heating systems of our clients, their digital landscape, and our product have a high level of complexity. You will be the one that will understand all, from a deep technical and business perspective, and connect the dots between them.   

Typically, when a potential client progresses in our sales funnel, the client will need more technical expertise then the business development people can offer. The SC is the one that makes tangible how a digital twin can accelerate decarbonization and efficiency for them. The SC defines the solution, journey and ensures the digital twin will create the most value for the client. SCs are often the most qualified resource on the call, and both the seller and buyer often put a lot of trust in the SC.    

In this role you will develop both deep knowledge of district heating and digitalization, you will need the selling and questioning skills to uncover client needs, and creative, educative and presentation capabilities to fit those to our technology. You will work directly with Business development directors across Europe and be their technical counterpart, and work internally with our product (marketing) teams to ensure our offering stays up to date. 

What You’ll Do  

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or IT consultancy roles, particularly within the software or management consulting sectors  
  • BSc, MSc or higher, in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical, energy, industrial engineering or other)  
  • Background in energy sector a plus  
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.  
  • A customer-centric approach with outstanding professional communication abilities and substantial client-facing experience.  
  • Proficiency in quickly adapting to different environments and mastering new skills and processes.  
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and align them with Gradyents solutions.  
  •  Ability to clearly communicate the benefits of our solutions to prospective clients across a wide range of industries.  
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. 

What We’re Looking For  

  • Analyze the current digital landscape of energy companies and educate them on digital transformation opportunities  
  • Own the technical track in high-value customer interactions and bring new customers on board by positioning Gradyent as the optimal solution for their needs  
  • Lead demonstrations, solutioning, write proposals, RFPs, build key client relationships, navigate IT and engineering organizations of energy companies  
  •  Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of our software, implementation, optimization frameworks and security infrastructure.  
  •  Collaborate with product management and solution architects to present end-to-end technical proposals and align cross-functionally with marketing, sales and operations   
  • Engage in continuous learning through product, sales, and procedural training and certifications.  
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual objectives set by management.
