Why this role exists:

This role exists to manage project requirements, issue tracking, and workflows in JIRA to support clear collaboration and efficient project execution. You’ll connect business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers through structured documentation, tracking, and reporting.

What you’ll drive:

Requirements & backlog management

• Collect and document project requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into JIRA user stories, tasks, and epics.
• Define and manage acceptance criteria for deliverables.
• Assign priorities, story points, and support backlog refinement.

Issue tracking & workflow management

• Track issue progress and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
• Design, implement, and refine JIRA workflows aligned with business needs.
• Define issue statuses, transitions, and automation rules.
• Ensure workflow alignment with Agile or project management methodologies.

Reporting, insights & communication

• Create dashboards and reports to track progress, productivity, and issue resolution.
• Analyze JIRA data to identify bottlenecks and improvement areas.
• Provide data-driven insights to stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency and documentation of project-related activities.
• Support teams through JIRA training and guidance.

Must-have

• Proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking, workflow customization, and reporting.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong knowledge of JIRA Query Language (JQL).
• Experience creating and maintaining JIRA dashboards and custom reports.
• Experience designing and implementing JIRA workflows.
• Familiarity with user story management and backlog refinement.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
