Why this role exists:

This role exists to ensure backend service quality by owning test cases and API automation, integrating automated tests into CI/CD, and supporting consistent quality validation within the Identity team.

What you’ll drive:

Test cases & quality validation

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases for component, functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring required quality standards.

Backend API automation

• Lead and contribute to backend API test automation, participating in planning, refinement, and reviews.

CI/CD & automation integration

• Integrate and optimize automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality checks.

Collaboration & QA improvement

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure software quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Support manual QA engineers by providing guidance on test automation approaches.

What makes you a GR8 fit:

Must-have

• 3+ years of experience in backend automation testing using C#.
• Strong knowledge of C# and .NET Core with solid OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience testing REST APIs and working with scalable, multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with CI/CD practices, Git, and DevOps tools, including containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases and hands-on experience with data querying.
• Experience with messaging and queueing technologies (e.g. Kafka) and understanding of security fundamentals.
• Background in manual testing and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with Intermediate English proficiency.
