Why this role exists

This role exists to create, execute, and maintain automation tests for backend applications, ensuring software quality, reliability, and smooth integration across services.

What you’ll drive

Test automation & execution

• Create, execute, and maintain automation tests for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Design tests for the functionalities under test.

Defect management & collaboration

• Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution and verification.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure software quality.

Quality assurance improvement

• Assist in conducting performance and load testing to ensure software meets performance requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during testing.
• Communicate test results, issues, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on quality objectives.

What makes you a GR8 fit

Must-have

• 2+ years’ experience in testing.
• 1+ years’ experience in test automation with Java.
• Understanding of microservices concepts.
• Experience in backend applications testing.
• Experience in integration testing.
• Strong communication and investigation skills.
• Intermediate English level.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with Kibana.
• Experience with Rancher.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with ElasticSearch.
• Experience with performance testing.
• Ability to effectively write test documentation (checklists, test cases, etc.).
• Experience with other JVM languages (Scala).
• Casino domain background.
