Why this role exists:

This role exists to build a people system that scales with the business — strategy, structure, leadership, performance, culture, and operations — all connected to measurable outcomes. You’ll make sure GR8 Tech can grow fast without losing clarity, belonging, or excellence.

What you’ll work on:

You’ll own the global People function end-to-end: org design, workforce planning, performance, leadership development, compensation strategy, HR ops/tech, talent acquisition, EVP/employer brand — for a distributed, multi-geo company.

What you’ll drive:

People strategy & business outcomes

  • Design and execute a people strategy aligned with business priorities and growth plans.
  • Define and track People KPIs (performance, engagement, retention, productivity, cost).
  • Use analytics to drive decisions on capacity, productivity, and organizational efficiency.

Org design & operating model

  • Build an agile org structure that supports distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with leadership to shape remote/hybrid models that actually work.
  • Ensure role clarity, ownership, and communication standards across remote teams.

Culture, engagement & belonging

  • Build a unified, values-driven culture across geographies.
  • Implement continuous feedback loops (surveys, reviews, 1:1 frameworks) and make results actionable.
  • Design recognition, wellbeing, and community initiatives that sustain engagement at scale.

Performance, leadership & learning

  • Establish a global performance system (KPIs/OKRs/360/PDP) and make it consistent.
  • Build leadership development and succession planning for distributed teams.
  • Oversee L&D strategy: digital platforms, academies, and learning paths for managers and teams.

Talent, EVP & employer brand

  • Scale global recruitment, onboarding, and candidate experience — with operational excellence.
  • Own and promote EVP and employer brand (especially for remote hiring markets).
  • Partner with Finance/Ops on hiring plans, scalability, and workforce planning.

Compensation, operations & compliance

  • Create transparent, equitable C&B frameworks across regions; ensure pay equity and benchmarking.
  • Lead HR operations through automation (HRIS/ATS, documentation, reporting, lifecycle processes).
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and smooth employee lifecycle processes globally.

What makes you a GR8 fit:

Must-have

  • 10+ years in HR leadership, including 5+ years in executive / strategic People roles.
  • Proven experience scaling People functions in remote and multinational environments.
  • Strong track record in org design, compensation strategy, performance systems, and talent development across geos.
  • Data-driven approach: HR analytics, workforce planning, measurable impact.
  • C-suite partnership experience: influencing strategy through insight and outcomes.
  • Trusted advisor and influencer with success driving company-wide initiatives through collaboration.
  • Empathetic and inspiring leader with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ukrainian proficiency.
