We’re looking for a highly motivated and self-driven QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality products through manual testing. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall quality of our software solutions — from initial development through to production. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on independence, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys problem-solving, continuous learning, and uncovering issues others might miss.

What You’ll Be Driving:

  • Creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing;
  • Developing and maintaining automated test scenarios to improve efficiency and coverage;
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, ensuring timely resolution;
  • Collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure software quality;
  • Maintaining clear documentation of test cases, results, and procedures;
  • Conducting thorough validation to ensure software meets quality standards;
  • Performing performance and load testing to verify system stability;
  • Improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies;
  • Troubleshooting and resolving testing issues with the development team;
  • Communicating test results, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.

What Makes You a GR8 Fit:

  • Experience in system analysis and design, including eliciting and documenting functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Knowledge of microservice, monolithic, and event-driven architectures, and ability to design resilient systems using patterns like circuit breaker and rate limiter;
  • Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases, SQL querying, and basic data modeling and normalization;
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, secure communication protocols (SSL/TLS), and key security principles including authentication, authorization, and vulnerability mitigation;
  • Familiarity with cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and major providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP;
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and DevOps tools for CI/CD automation (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform);
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and experience using version control systems like Git;
  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques (functional, regression, load) and familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools;
  • Experience in mobile application testing across iOS and Android platforms, using mobile-specific testing tools;
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, ensuring high-quality deliverables and effective collaboration across teams.
