Middle Project Manager for Payments Integration Team

About your key responsibilities and impact:

  • Managing projects and releases (timelines, scope changes, risks, dependencies);
  • Organizing teamwork to meet business needs;
  • Working closely with Product Owner and Tech Leadership to define team backlog and roadmap;
  • Strong partnership with Product Owners and Dev/QA leads;
  • Developing and maintaining scalable delivery processes along with the Delivery Manager;
  • Proactively solving day-to-day challenges and making sound judgments;
  • Effectively communicating relevant project information to the stakeholders and team;
  • Resolving and/or escalating issues promptly;
  • “Smart” people managing;
  • Recruiting and staffing process (making sure the development team has appropriate skills to meet business needs).

Essential professional experience:

  • At least 4 years of strong IT project management experience, including leading development projects and teams as a Project Manager, with a deep understanding of IT processes;
  • Client Relationships and stakeholder management experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams of 10+ people and successfully deliver multiple projects;
  • Advanced proficiency in project support and monitoring tools such as JIRA and Confluence;
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies;
  • A solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement;
  • A passion for building efficient, reliable, and motivated teams;
  • Strong people management, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong partnership with Product Owners and Dev/QA leads.

Desirable skills and personal features:

  • Experience in Integration management;
  • Experience in Payments;
  • General understanding of the FinTech approaches;
  • Experience in Team Management;
  • Experience in Client Relationships Management in B2B environments;
  • Visionary, experience in working on strategically important initiatives;
  • Experience in B2B gambling platforms, PSPs or operators is a strong advantage;
  • Language skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian is a strong advantage.
