Job Title: Community Engagement Executive

Location: Daily travel around Aberdeenshire and Tayside 

Working Hours: 37.5 hrs per week 

Salary  from £28,000 depending on experience, plus company car and fuel card

THE TEAM

 

Join GoFibre’s growing marketing team as a Community Engagement Executive, where you’ll plan and deliver vibrant community events across the north east of Scotland.
You’ll be the face of GoFibre at local venues and activities, building relationships, promoting our full fibre broadband rollout, and capturing local stories that matter. By being at the heart of our local outreach efforts, from organising events and creating engaging content for social media and our website, you’ll be bringing our brand to life in the heart of the communities we serve.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Full ownership for planning, coordinating, and delivering a dynamic programme of community events across GoFibre build areas
  • Promoting GoFibre at local events, connecting with stakeholders and driving public engagement with our brand
  • Creating and capturing engaging written, photo, and video content for social media and the website
  • Support local sponsorships and partnerships, and help manage branded event materials
  • Attend stakeholder events and respond to community queries on GoFibre channels
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align activities with our PR, social impact, and marketing strategies

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Experience in events, marketing, PR, communications, or journalism
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor content and messaging for different audiences across platforms
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Friendly, professional presence with confidence in public-facing roles
  • Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel across build areas
