It includes software-as-a-service capabilities across the entire payments value chain, such as account-to-account processing, FX, SWIFT connectivity, fraud management and card processing infrastructure.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Be an inspiring leader who develops and empowers Staff Engineers and Squads, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
• Orchestrate the teams’ technical execution, ensuring alignment with best practices in software engineering, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and the company’s strategic objectives.
• Use DORA Metrics to monitor, drive, and communicate team performance, promoting continuous improvement.
• Serve as a liaison between technical and business areas, facilitating communication between teams in Brazil and abroad, in Portuguese, English, or Spanish.
• Support the development of robust and scalable architectures, guiding technical decisions and removing obstacles for teams.
• Promote the continuous evolution of processes, code quality, and automation, ensuring consistent, high-impact deliveries.
• Encourage and ensure the application of TDD and BDD in the development cycle, raising the quality standard of deliveries.
• Be a leader in technical leadership, mentoring, and building diverse and engaged teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Solid experience leading software engineering teams, with a proven track record of developing people and delivering results.
• In-depth knowledge of Java, Quarkus, and Spring Boot, as well as containers and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with AWS and experience optimizing and scaling cloud applications.
• Ability to create and promote resilient and scalable APIs.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong expertise in testing, automation, and quality assurance processes.
• Hands-on experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Knowledge and application of DORA Metrics for team performance management.
• Experience and mastery of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).

Desirable requirements

• Experience with Python and microservices integration.
• Experience in mentoring, coaching, and building high-performance teams.
