At Getnet, we are looking for a Product Operations Manager to join our team in Madrid.

📌 What you'll do

As a Product Operations Manager, you will play a key role in consolidating and evolving our Product Operating Model. This role goes beyond process enforcement — you will directly influence how Product and Technology teams prioritize, make decisions, and deliver value.

You will drive operational excellence across Fusion and Platform Teams, ensuring clarity, quality, and visibility throughout the Product Management Lifecycle (PMLC). Your work will enhance execution speed, decision quality, and portfolio coherence within a global organization transitioning to a Fusion & Platform model.

Reporting to Product leadership, your responsibilities will include:

Operating Model Excellence

  • Ensure consistent and pragmatic application of the Product Management Lifecycle (PMLC).
  • Improve clarity in stages, gates, standards, and decision forums.
  • Identify structural friction points and propose systemic improvements.
  • Balance operational rigor with agility, avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy.

Decision-Making Quality

  • Review initiatives before governance forums (e.g., Product Council).
  • Validate problem definition, expected outcomes, metrics, and trade-offs.
  • Elevate product conversations through structured thinking.
  • Ensure initiatives are investment-ready and execution-ready.

Portfolio Visibility & Health

  • Monitor initiatives across discovery, build, and delivery stages.
  • Identify bottlenecks, risks, and critical dependencies.
  • Transform operational data into actionable insights.
  • Improve quarterly planning predictability.

Tools & Artifacts Discipline

  • Ensure structured and consistent use of tools (Jira, Confluence, dashboards).
  • Maintain data integrity and traceability.
  • Guarantee product documentation acts as a single source of truth.
  • Improve workflows and automation to reduce operational friction.

Governance & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Maintain and enhance governance rhythms (Product Council, planning cycles, reviews).
  • Ensure forums are decision-oriented rather than reporting-driven.
  • Facilitate alignment across Product, Engineering, and Platform teams.
  • Promote a culture of clarity, accountability, and structured execution.

Team Leadership (if applicable)

  • Manage and develop Product Operations profiles.
  • Foster operational rigor, systemic thinking, and continuous improvement.
  • Build internal Product Operations capabilities.

What we are looking for

Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience in Product Operations, PMO, Product Management, Program Management, or strategy/consulting roles.
  • Experience working in global or cross-functional product organizations.
  • Exposure to governance models and structured product lifecycle frameworks.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders in strategic decision-making processes.

Education, Knowledge & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong structural and systemic thinking.
  • High attention to detail with portfolio-level vision.
  • Ability to identify structural issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Comfortable working with data and performance metrics.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Ownership mindset and impact orientation.
  • Professional level of English (mandatory).
  • Portuguese is a plus.

What makes this role unique

  • Direct exposure to global Product and Technology leadership.
  • Central role in consolidating the Fusion & Platform operating model.
  • Real influence on portfolio prioritization and execution.
  • Opportunity to design organizational mechanisms that enhance systemic performance.
  • High growth potential within a global organization.
