📌 What you’ll do
As a Platform Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the platform roadmap, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, DevOps, and CISO. You will need to have a solid technical understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, etc.) and common platform services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apigee, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.). Your proactive and open-minded approach will enable you to stay up-to-date with the latest platform technologies and trends.
✅ What we’re looking for
- Define and prioritize the platform roadmap: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, technical requirements, and customer pain points. Prioritize features and capabilities to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Technical expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, etc.) and common platform services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apigee, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.). Stay current with the latest platform technologies and trends.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, Security, and other teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
- Requirements gathering and definition: Elicit requirements from stakeholders, define user stories, and create acceptance criteria.
- Stakeholder management: Communicate platform plans, progress, and changes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making: Analyze complex technical problems, identify solutions, and make informed decisions that balance business needs, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
- Product orientation: Our Platform is a Product that must be protected from customizations and project-specific requirements
Requirements:
- English is the common language of the team
- Technical background: 3+ years of experience in a technical role, such as software engineering, DevOps, or technical product management.
- Platform expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, etc.), common platform services (NginX, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apigee, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.) and CI/CD and automation tooling (Terraform, GitHub actions, ArgoCD, etc.).
- Product management experience: 2+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on platform or infrastructure products.
- Communication and collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and identify creative solutions.
- Adaptability and continuous learning: Willingness to learn new technologies, adapt to changing priorities, and navigate ambiguity.
✅What can earn you extra points
- AWS certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Cloud-native architecture: Knowledge of cloud-native architecture patterns, such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
