Your Work & Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join GetHarley during an exciting stage of growth in the business. Reporting into the Finance Director, you’ll play a key role in establishing and shaping our Finance Team from the ground up. This is a unique, hands-on opportunity to deep dive into the details, build foundational processes, and co-create the strategy  for a scalable, future-ready finance function.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (UK GAAP and IFRS)
  • Day-to-day finance operations (AR, AP and commission reports)
  • Management accounting and month end
  • Bookkeeping and general ledger management
  • Support budgeting and forecasting 
  • Audit Support 
  • Improving and automating processes and controls
  • Driving commercial improvements
  • Ad-hoc financial projects

What we are looking for

  • Bachelors degree and ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Motivated to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. One team, one dream!
  • Proficient in accounting software and systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP Oracle or ERP)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for financial analysis and reporting
  • Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS and relevant regulatory standards
  • Experience in VAT returns, bookkeeping and management accounts
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Have previous experience working in e-commerce
  • Preferred but not essential: start-up experience

Office location 

We have a Marylebone, London HQ which is open anytime you want to pop in, the team comes into the office once or twice a week.
