
IT Manager
Machine intelligence will soon take over humanity’s role in knowledge-keeping and creation. What started in the mid-1990s as the gradual off-loading of knowledge and decision making to search engines will be rapidly replaced by vast neural networks - with all knowledge compressed into their artificial neurons. Unlike organic life, machine intelligence, built within silicon, needs protocols to coordinate and grow. And, like nature, these protocols should be open, permissionless, and neutral. Starting with compute hardware, the Gensyn protocol networks together the core resources required for machine intelligence to flourish alongside human intelligence.
The Role
- Keep our internal systems running smoothly—supporting our end users, managing devices, identity & access, SaaS tools, and collaborating with Ops and Engineering to maintain a high-velocity, secure environment
Responsibilities
- Provide support for Mac users globally
- Manage onboarding/off-boarding: account provisioning, device setup, and access management
- Administer identity (SSO, MFA), MDM/endpoint security, and Google Workspace/SaaS stacks
- Perform security hardening for laptops and SaaS systems
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, software issues; escalate as needed
- Automate routine IT tasks via scripting (Python or Bash)
- Maintain clear documentation of systems, procedures, configurations
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams
Competencies
Must Have
- 5+ years experience in IT support or systems administration
- Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, endpoints, network
- Experience with MacOS management, security hardening, and EDR/SIEM tools
- Experience with Google Workspace administration, MDM solutions, and IAM tools
- Comfortable supporting remote/distributed teams
- Scripting ability (Python or Bash)
- Excellent communication and customer-service mindset
Preferred
- Experience with security frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) or DevOps tooling
- Interest in AI infrastructure, distributed systems, or blockchain
