The Role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our core engineering team and help ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our blockchain infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in designing, executing, and automating tests for blockchain nodes (Erigon), JSON-RPC APIs, and CDK-based infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, write, and maintain test plans and cases for Erigon (Ethereum node) deployments

  • Build and extend automated tests for APIs, infrastructure, and blockchain components

  • Perform manual and exploratory testing of new features, deployments, and updates

  • Conduct load and performance testing using tools like k6 and polycli

  • Test and validate JSON-RPC interactions and behaviors

  • Collaborate closely with developers to identify and troubleshoot issues early in the development cycle

  • Help optimize and scale testing practices as our infrastructure evolves

Tools You’ll Work With

  • k6 (Load testing)

  • polycli (Blockchain API testing)

  • Kurtosis (End-to-end environment testing)

  • Hive (Ethereum testing framework) – nice to have

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in QA Engineering, covering both manual and automation testing

  • Proven experience testing backend services, APIs, and infrastructure systems

  • Familiarity with blockchain technology — Erigon experience is a major plus

  • Strong background in load and performance testing

  • Deep understanding of API testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Postman, Newman)

  • Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation and tooling

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, fast-paced environment

Bonus Points

  • Experience with AWS CDK or similar cloud development tools

  • Hands-on experience testing Ethereum clients and JSON-RPC interfaces

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
