We are looking for a Mailroom Clerk to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient office procedures and providing essential administrative and clerical support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. If you're a hardworking, self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, we want you to help drive our business forward!
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive administrative assistance across various departments, including meticulous data entry, organized filing, and efficient document management.
- Communication: Assisting in answering and directing phone calls, emails, and inquiries to the appropriate staff members promptly and professionally.
- Office Maintenance: Ensuring the office environment remains clean, organized, and well-maintained. You'll also be responsible for ordering office supplies as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records and databases. This includes updating and managing files, records, and documents in full compliance with company policies.
- Scheduling: Helping with the scheduling and organizing of meetings, appointments, and events, and coordinating meeting room bookings when necessary.
- Mail Handling: Sorting and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail efficiently. You'll also assist with shipping and receiving tasks as required.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other team members to assist with various projects, tasks, and day-to-day operations, fostering a supportive team environment.
- Confidentiality: Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintaining strict data privacy at all times.
- Other Duties: Undertaking additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive attitude.
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ years of experience in a mailroom, clerical, or administrative role, with a demonstrated ability to handle tasks efficiently.
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for seamless interaction with colleagues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong general computer skills.
- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A reliable and punctual individual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous clerical or administrative experience is a plus.
