Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations
The Supervisor, Pharmacy Operations at Fuze Health plays a critical role in leading a team of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality prescription processing. Reporting to Pharmacy Operations leadership, this role is responsible for driving performance, maintaining regulatory standards, and fostering a culture focused on patient safety, satisfaction, and continuous improvement within the respective FuzeRx location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Oversight: Manage and support a team of pharmacy technicians, driving productivity, accuracy, and adherence to quality and compliance standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency, improve workflows, and meet performance goals.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor prescription intake and ensure patient profiles are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal leaders, stakeholders, and teams to align operations and resolve issues impacting performance or patient outcomes.
- Performance Management: Use reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor team performance; provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to support ongoing development.
- Workforce Planning: Manage scheduling and workload distribution to meet operational targets across production, quality, and safety.
- Employee Development: Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and evaluation of pharmacy technicians.
- Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure all staff are trained and compliant with company policies, safety standards, and pharmacy regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve production planning, workflow efficiencies, and customer satisfaction.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
- 1+ year of leadership experience, preferably in a retail or community pharmacy setting.
- Active, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence.
- Proven ability to manage teams, track performance, and improve operational outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadership.
- Ability to adapt to technological changes and process updates in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience managing staffing plans, conducting performance evaluations, and implementing corrective actions.
- Familiarity with pharmacy performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement within pharmacy operations or healthcare settings.
Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $60,000-$70,000, in addition we offer a range of benefits including:
