About the Role
Fresco is looking for an experienced and energetic Marketing Manager to join our team for a fixed-term maternity cover. However, we would be open to extending the contract for the right candidate if the opportunity emerges. Reporting to our Head of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for ideating and developing compelling content for the Fresco brand across social media, articles, email campaigns, and more. They will also be responsible for collaborating with key platform partners on their content for co-branded launches, including the management of Fresco’s consumer engagement tool that we offer as a service to our partners. Additionally, they will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Marketing at in-person events/tradeshows throughout the year, including travel in Europe and the US. This is an exciting and multi-faceted role with a huge opportunity for growth and development.
Your Responsibilities
- Ideate and develop content for Fresco’s digital channels, specifically social media, video, email, blog articles, and more. You will work closely with the PR and Thought Leadership Manager to ensure this aligns with Fresco’s broader thought leadership strategy to maximize our brand awareness and credibility.
- Oversee the full content calendar, ensuring timely planning, creation, and publication of content across all digital platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform content initiatives and optimize the content mix to engage our target audience effectively.
- Develop targeted messaging and content strategies for B2C2B initiatives that resonate with both consumers and prospective partners. Craft compelling narratives that highlight the value of Fresco’s offerings, driving engagement and fostering brand loyalty while supporting partner sales efforts.
- Work closely with our platform partners on Fresco-Connected launch campaigns for their social media and other digital channels to generate awareness and drive activation for their app and smart products.
- Set our partners up for success with their smart experiences and help them build long-term app retention by developing and executing Fresco’s consumer engagement strategy inclusive of an onboarding plan that guides partners in setting up campaigns across activation, engagement, and retention, influencing partners to use the right messaging in campaigns to educate consumers and compel them to use the app, regularly syncing with partners to develop strong relationships and ensure they are using the tool effectively and more.
- Support the Head of Marketing at key events where Fresco exhibits our smart cooking experience throughout the year. This includes; pre-event planning and logistics, onsite execution, and post-event management. This involves travel in the US and EU at set times throughout the year. - Support the Brand Director in managing the Fresco DAM (Digital and Asset Management Tool) to streamline asset sharing for internal teams and external partners and ensure the Fresco brand is always accurately represented. This includes training new partners on how to use the tool effectively.
- Create, monitor, and report on KPIs to measure the success of our digital channels and ensure we are always adopting new tactics to improve engagement.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and news in our industry on topics such as smart kitchen technology, AI, IoT, Matter, and more, so that you can develop content ideas that will engage our audience.
Your Skills
- Excellent written and communication skills in developing assets including social posts, blog articles, emails, and assets for our partners.
- Strong team-focused approach to collaboration; responsive and thoughtful in internal communications
- Results-driven and detail-oriented.
- Natural self-starter who loves to get stuff done.
- Excited to join a fast-growing company.
Your Experience
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in marketing roles for a marketing agency or in-house role.
- Experience managing multiple digital channels including social media, CRM, blog, etc.
- Proven track record in content marketing with strong results, ideally in a technology company.
- Experience in event management is nice to have but not essential, as long as you have a solution-oriented approach and can bring energy!
Desired skills and experience.
- Passion for technology and cooking.
- Experience working with startups and scale-ups.
- Tech-savvy with a strong online presence on one or more social networks.
