Senior Brand and Communications Manager

Full Time  | EMEA Remote | Amsterdam

This is a remote role based within the EMEA region. Candidates must have a valid EU work permit to work at Founda remotely or be eligible to work from our office in Amsterdam.

Position Overview

As the Senior Brand and Communications Manager at Founda Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global brand strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will focus on driving initiatives in brand development, corporate communications, thought leadership, and online and offline presence.

This role is distinct from Product Marketing and prioritizes building a powerful global brand identity, engaging external audiences, and elevating Founda Health’s reputation in the healthcare data availability market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Marketing, HR, Sales, and Partnerships—to amplify the company’s voice through impactful campaigns and events. 

You will be instrumental in enhancing Founda Health’s visibility through public relations, content creation, social media strategy, and employer branding. By ensuring the brand resonates across regional markets and aligns with the company’s vision, you will position Founda Health as an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Development:

  • Create and implement a global brand strategy that aligns with Founda Health’s vision, tailored to resonate across regional markets.
  • Define visual identity and messaging guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Develop and execute localized campaigns that reflect market nuances while maintaining brand coherence.

Thought Leadership:

  • Produce high-quality content (blogs, white papers, case studies) that establishes Founda Health as a thought leader in healthcare data availability.
  • Build relationships with key industry influencers, analysts, and media to amplify Founda Health’s presence.
  • Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of impactful content.

Corporate Communications:

  • Manage internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and executive messaging.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing on communication plans for product launches and industry events.
  • Act as the point of contact for media inquiries, ensuring professional and timely responses.

Online and Social Media Presence:

  • Manage Founda Health’s website and social media strategies to grow brand awareness, including content planning, community engagement, and performance analysis.

Event Management and Representation:

  • Plan and execute industry events, webinars, and conferences that elevate Founda Health’s profile.
  • Prepare materials, coordinate logistics, and represent the company as a brand ambassador at key events.

Employer Branding:

  • Lead employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent, including managing career pages, developing employee testimonials, and promoting company culture.
  • Partner with HR to create and deliver an engaging employee value proposition.

Brand Performance Measurement:

  • Establish and monitor KPIs for brand initiatives, such as brand awareness, media coverage, social engagement, and event ROI.
  • Regularly analyze performance metrics and refine strategies for maximum impact.

Areas of Collaboration with Product Marketing


Customer and Partner Engagement: Work with Product Marketing to develop co-branded materials, customer success stories, and partner marketing campaigns.Content Creation: Collaborate on thought leadership pieces that intersect brand and product messaging to align with sales and marketing goals.Corporate Communications: Partner with Product Marketing to develop communication plans for product launches and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.


 

What You’ll Bring:

  • You MUST have proven experience in brand strategy, communications, and thought leadership in the healthcare market preferably within a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences in healthcare
  • Expertise in managing PR, media relations, and digital channels to build a powerful and engaging presence.
  • Strong project management skills, capable of leading campaigns and events from concept to execution.
  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working closely with Product Marketing and other cross-functional teams.

Recruitment Process

  • Introduction call w/ the People team (~30 minutes)
  • Building the brand of Founda Health w/ Chief of Staff and CEO (~75 minutes)
  • Collaboration w/ Product & Sales w/ VP of Product and GM EMEA (~60 minutes)
  • Final conversation on company culture, compensation & benefits (~30 minutes)
