The Opportunity
We are seeking an Associate to join the Investor Relations team. You will play a vital role in the Investor Relations and Impact team at Forbion, contributing to the success of our fundraising efforts. This position is crucial in supporting Limited Partner (LP) interactions, preparing investor materials and contributing to the execution of fundraising activities. This role requires a balance of analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels. You will be part of a self-directed team, where entrepreneurial spirit and pro-activity are highly valued. With the cyclical nature of the work, you will adapt to periods of intense activity while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality results. What You will Do
- Investor Materials Preparation:
- Develop, refine, and tailor materials such as DDQs, pitch decks, and updates, ensuring accuracy and alignment with LP expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data and maintain consistency across materials.
- Data Analysis and Research:
- Conduct research on LP mandates, competitor funds, and industry trends to inform fundraising and engagement strategies.
- Leverage Excel to analyse and interpret data, translating it into actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
- Generate actionable reports that support the team in identifying opportunities or addressing gaps in investor engagement.
- CRM and Pipeline Management:
- Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and pipeline tracking for LP engagement.

- Support senior team members in maintaining key LP relationships, with the potential to own certain LP interactions over time.
- Support LP Interactions:
- Assist in managing follow-ups and outreach, ensuring timely responses to LP inquiries and maintaining professional communication standards.

- Track progress in the fundraising pipeline and provide updates to Directors and Partners.
- Fundraising Execution: H
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising campaigns, including scheduling meetings and preparing materials for LP discussions.

- Communication and Presentation:
- Present data, research findings, and insights to internal teams and LPs clearly and persuasively.
- Align communication with Forbion’s strategic goals and messaging framework.
- Time Allocation:
- 40% supporting LP interactions and conducting follow-ups.
- 30% analysing data and preparing investor materials
- 30% supporting fundraising activities and pipeline management
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field
- 3 years of direct experience in investor relations or fund marketing, or 3–5 years in a related role that provides a solid understanding of the Limited Partner (LP) – General Partner (GP) dynamic (e.g., financial analysis, fundraising, asset management, or strategic consulting).
- Strong analytical skills, with a proven ability to work with data in Excel and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all investor-facing materials and internal reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across self-directed teams.
- Ability to thrive in a cyclical, fast-paced environment, balancing periods of intense activity with the discipline to maintain high standards consistently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take initiative, solve problems, and contribute proactively to team goals.
- Familiarity with ESG principles and their integration into investor communications is a plus.
