We’re looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer who will help define and drive our technical direction. You think in systems, enjoy collaborating across teams, and understand that the best technical solutions are the ones that also support strong business outcomes. This is a high-impact role where you won’t just contribute code, you’ll help set standards, shape the architecture, and influence how multiple teams build frontend systems at scale. As a technical leader within our frontend ecosystem, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the long-term health, scalability, and performance of our storefront.

Your Role

• Own the evolution of our Next.js App Router storefront, ensuring it remains performant and maintainable.
• Design and implement sophisticated caching and rendering patterns, balancing SSR, ISR, RSC, and PPR to optimize user experience.
• Define the engineering standards and technical guardrails that keep our code clean and consistent.
• Act as the bridge between teams to standardize frontend patterns, ensuring scalability and reducing technical debt.
• Lead foundational modernization work and complex migrations that keep our stack at the cutting edge.
• Develop a comprehensive performance strategy that translates across different markets.

Your Profile

• 8+ years of frontend engineering experience, with substantial time in Tech Lead or Frontend Architect roles.
• Proven ownership of large-scale frontend architectures, preferably in e-commerce, with experience driving system-wide decisions.
• Deep expertise in React internals and modern Next.js (App Router), including performance-first rendering strategies (SSR, ISR, RSC, PPR).
• Demonstrated ability to define and enforce engineering standards and best practices across multiple teams.
• Experience leading senior engineers, guiding technical direction, and resolving architectural trade-offs.
• Skilled at translating business goals into scalable technical architecture, understanding commercial impacts.
• Comfortable operating at a cross-team, platform-level scope, not just within a single squad.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
