Role Purpose

Role Purpose

The Token and Community Lead owns the FDFI token program and the community around it. You execute the day-to-day operations of the token program — listings, market-maker relationships, treasury operations, vesting administration, and governance — while owning the community across all channels and acting as the public face of FDFI for holders.

You execute against direction set by the FDFI token committee; you do not set tokenomics policy unilaterally. The Finance District Lead carries the strategic exchange relationships; you own the operational listing process. The Finance District Lead sits on the token committee; you bring informed input from the community and the market into that forum.

Trust and crisis discipline are operationally critical to this role. You will be the calm, credible, transparent voice for FDFI when it matters most.

Key Responsibilities

Token Program Execution

  • Run TGE program management, listing operations (CEX and DEX), and market-maker day-to-day relationships
  • Administer vesting schedules and token unlocks; coordinate treasury operations alongside finance and the token committee
  • Maintain the operational cadence of the token program — monthly attestations, listings, unlocks, treasury reports — on time, every time
  • Coordinate exchange listings against the strategy set by the Finance District Lead

Community Ownership

  • Own the community across Discord, Telegram, X, and the governance forum
  • Set and execute the content cadence — AMAs, town halls, threads, community calls
  • Build and run the ambassador program; manage KOL relationships across APAC, EU, and US
  • Recruit, train, and retain a moderator team across major channels

Governance Operations

  • Manage the proposal lifecycle: drafting standards, forum management, and voting infrastructure
  • Run delegate programs and engagement initiatives
  • Publish transparency reports on treasury activity, proposals, and governance metrics

Sentiment and Crisis Response

  • Monitor narratives across X, Discord, Telegram, research and news channels, and trading venues
  • Coordinate with comms, legal, and the Finance District Lead on crisis response
  • Be the calm, transparent voice for the FDFI holder community when it matters

Public Face for Holders

  • Long-form writing on X; host community calls; speak at token-focused events
  • Build the holder community as a strategic asset for Finance District

Internal Coordination

  • Surface community signal and market feedback to the token committee via the Finance District Lead
  • Support the Growth and Ecosystem Partnerships functions on community-facing programs that emerge from their work

Required Experience

  • 7+ years in token program management, community leadership, or related crypto-native roles
  • Direct experience running a token program at a meaningful crypto project — TGE execution, exchange listings, market-maker relationships, treasury operations
  • Crypto-native. You are visible in the space, with existing relationships in exchanges, market makers, KOLs, and the broader community
  • Strong written communication — long-form on X, community posts, governance writing, transparency reports
  • Working knowledge of tokenomics, AMMs, on-chain governance, vesting and unlock mechanics, treasury management
  • Experience handling a crisis or controversy — depeg event, governance dispute, exchange delisting, or similar. You have been in the room when things were going wrong and have helped to stabilise the situation
  • Comfort being a public face for a project — speaking, writing, AMAs, podcast appearances

What We Offer

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • FDFI token allocation with multi-year vesting
  • A hands-on role at the intersection of stablecoins, AI agents, and the on-chain economy
  • Direct mentorship from the Finance District Lead
  • A clear path to the Growth Lead role for strong performers as the function scales
